This looks good but try using lazy mouse with the pinch brush to pinch the grooves together a bit. Adjust the pinch size and intensity and be sure to adjust the lazy radius in the stroke settings to get the right drag. Add surface noise in the surface menu but be sure to use masking to protect the areas (interior?) with no noise.
